Sunday Wrap-up and New Series

Sunday was once again…awesome!  A few notes…

*God is doing amazing things through our people.  We had 5 people share about there mission experiences this year.  Charlie with Carpenters for Christ, Joani in Jamaica, and Duff, Hannah, and Brandon at World Changers.  It was incredible to see what God has done through them to SPREAD the name of Christ around the world.  I can’t wait to hear from one of our other youth(Merritt) who came back from India a few days ago.  She has been working in orphanages there.  Another one of our college students(Sara) will be going to Panama with a group of missionaries to be a translator in a few weeks.  So proud of them all!

It is the responsibility of every believer to spread the gospel.  How can you be apart?  You can do three things…1)Go 2)Give and 3)Pray.  We talked about all three on Sunday morning.  Check it out.  Go to www.graceinseneca.com and click on watch and listen.

*Our volunteers at Grace are awesome!  I appreciate each and every one of you who spend your time and energy making everything run at Grace, from media to greeters.  We would have to shut the doors without you.

*Volunteering is one way that you can be apart of spreading the gospel to our community.  Our church is a mission here in Seneca.  Each time you serve you are using your gifts and talents to spread the gospel.  We have baptized almost 30 people this year and each volunteer at Grace has a part in that. If you have been attending Grace and not serving it’s time for you to get involved.  Go by the next steps table after one of our services.  If you are reading this and don’t come to Grace, start serving at a local church in your community and be apart of what God is doing around the world.

This week we start a series about prayer called Conversations!!! I’m super excited to teach you all about prayer and how to pray.  What I have found talking with pastors is that Christians don’t pray.  Not even the pastors spend much time in prayer!  Most people will tell you that they want to know and do God’s will for their lives.  How are we going to know what that is if we are not communicating with Him?  Click here to see the promo.
